WHAT IS A FRIEND?

The Institute of Real Estate Management has been the source of education and professional recognition for managers of all property types for over 75 years. The Northern Virginia Chapter of IREM is comprised of over 350 members comprised of site, property, and asset managers of office buildings, industrial projects, shopping centers, apartments and condominiums. Chapter meetings are attended by the most important and influential property managers and decision-makers in the area. As a Friend of IREM, businesses are afforded the opportunity of personally network with property managers at a chapter meeting through the meeting sponsorship program, or to advertise their services on the chapter website which is used by all property professionals affiliated with the chapter.

Meeting Sponsors. Limited opportunities exist for sponsoring chapter meetings. There is a limit of only three sponsoring firms for each of the six chapter meetings during the year. Meeting sponsors receive the following exclusive benefits:

Two complimentary tickets for the sponsored meeting and seating with chapter members.

Formal introduction and opportunity to speak from the podium during the program.

Signage recognition at registration area.

Free listing on the chapter website with a direct link to the sponsor's own website.

Two sets of mailing labels (as requested) of chapter CPM® members, candidates, and ARM® participants.

Opportunity to attend all chapter meetings (ticket purchased at regular price, limit two representatives).

Free business card size advertisement in all chapter newsletters.

Website Advertisers. Property management related businesses and vendors who are not meeting sponsors may also advertise on the chapter's website. Each advertiser will be included in two separate listings. One is an overall alphabetical listing, and the other is a listing by vendor specialty. Both listings include the vendor's address and contact information, and, most importantly, a direct link to the vendor's own website. All listings will run for a full twelve months, and can be renewed at the end of that time.
